UPDATE

Version F- I am done trying to squeeze more nebulosity out of this image .....time to move on.

Version E- Took a completely different approach, producing what I think displays the outer shell better and more detail of the core with almost a 3-D look.

----------------------------------------------
It has been a long time since I took a look at this simple beauty.  Messier 27, a classic DSO that so many of us attempt when we are first learning astrophotography, and rightfully so.  It is bright and provides very strong HA and OIII signals.  I actually collected some SII data but decided not to use it, except to make the fake RGB stars as I didn't have enough time to collect RGB data for the stars.  This object does not look nearly as nice in a SHO palette as it does in HOO.  Collecting more Ha and OIII data would provide more of its outer shells, but we are entering a long cloudy period in Florida that might last a few weeks.  So, this is sufficient for me.
